A 22-year-old man has sparked controversy after publicly accusing a married woman of ending their alleged four-year affair and denying him access to the three children he claims to have fathered with her. In a statement shared online, the man alleged that the woman — identified only as Mrs. Teza — engaged in a long-term relationship with him while her husband lived abroad in the United States. He said the affair began after she complained of loneliness and dissatisfaction in her marriage.
According to him, the relationship was financially beneficial, as the woman allegedly rented an apartment for him, opened a shoe business in his name, and provided him with monthly allowances.
He claimed the situation changed drastically after she reportedly became pregnant a second time and later gave birth to twins. He alleged that she suddenly cut off communication, blocked his phone numbers, and ended the relationship without explanation.
The young man said he became distressed by what he described as a betrayal, insisting he lost a previous serious relationship because of the affair. He also said his business had collapsed and his rent expired, leaving him struggling financially.
He further claimed that he asked the woman for a ₦4.5 million “compensation” to help him restart his life, but she allegedly ignored him. He also accused her of secretly processing travel documents for herself and the children, an action he said he found disrespectful and hurtful.
Although he initially demanded custody of the children, he later stated he no longer wanted them but insisted on receiving monetary compensation for what he called “wasted time and energy.”
The man warned that if the woman does not respond before the end of the month, he would demand either the children be returned to him or his compensation paid in full.
Neither the woman nor her husband has responded publicly to the allegations, and the claims remain unverified. Legal experts note that the case — involving alleged paternity, financial demands, and marital infidelity — would require formal investigation and possible court involvement.
