A young woman has shared a shocking and heartbreaking confession that has left many people speechless. The married lady, who runs a successful boutique in Lekki and lives a very comfortable life, said she once drugged her own mother just to please her husband and save her marriage.
The story, which she shared anonymously for public advice, began with a troubling pattern in her marriage — her husband, despite being rich and generous, is a chronic womaniser.
According to her, he has forced her to approach other women for him to sleep with, and whenever she refuses, he causes trouble in the house. But what she never expected was that her husband would begin to desire her own mother.
It all started when she gave birth and her mother came to stay with them for the traditional "omugwo" (postnatal care). Just one month into the visit, her husband confessed that he had started catching feelings for her mother, saying that whenever her mother walked past or came close, his body reacted in a way he could not control.
She was filled with anger and disappointment but tried to ask her mother to go back home. However, her husband refused and threatened to divorce her and take everything away if she stopped him from being with her mother.
After several nights of crying and thinking, the woman revealed that her husband came up with a shocking suggestion: to drug her mother so he could sleep with her while she was unconscious.
According to her, she gave in — not because she wanted to, but because she was scared of losing her marriage, her lifestyle, and everything she had worked hard to build.
Her words:
"My mum is a divorcee. My dad, who is a soldier, used to beat her badly until she ran away. She never remarried. She gave me the best life she could. And this is how I repaid her. I allowed my husband to sleep with her. I even cleaned her up afterwards."
The woman said her husband slept with her mum twice that night, and when her mum woke up, she only complained of feeling weak and dizzy. She had no idea what had happened.
The woman is now full of regret and sorrow. She described her husband as a man who always comes back crying and asking for forgiveness after committing immoral acts. But she admits this act has haunted her deeply.
