According to Omokri, the downward trend was as a result of the activities of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), which ordered its members to stay at home for one week during that period and affected students from the region.
He said that Peter Obi who he claimed supported IPOB before failed to condemn it when it was responsible for logistical problems faced by schoolchildren during WAEC exams.
He is alleging that Obi condemned the government on education quality yet he kept quiet when exam malpractices occurred.
He also questioned if Peter Obi had any achievement while serving as Anambra State Governor.
In addition, he maintained that there were no new schools constructed within Anambra under his regime and his administration created many “miracle” examination centers which encouraged examination malpractice.
In conclusion, Omokri told Obi to think about his actions first before accusing others.

Dear Peter Obi,Thank you for your observation on this year's WAEC result. However, the real reason for the slight drop in performance in this year's West African Senior School Certificate Examination is because the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, which you publicly defended, declared a week's sit at home on May 30, 2024, to mark the fifty-seventh anniversary of the declaration of the rebel Republic of Biafra, which affected hundreds of thousands of schoolchildren in the Southeast, because it coincided with the date for the 2024 WAEC examinations. Many were not able to write the examinations. IPOB killed some of the brave ones who came out. Others who managed to write their papers were under mental strain from the fear of being killed by IPOB for disobeying the sit at home. But when all that happened, you, Peter Obi, kept quiet until today. You refused to condemn IPOB or offer any words to the parents who suffered through that ordeal. And today, you are hypocritically sermonising against the government because of what you and IPOB caused. You, Peter Obi, also do not have the moral authority to speak on falling educational standards and alleged poor performance in WAEC's West African Senior School Certificate Examination. How many schools did you build during your eight-year tenure as Anambra Governor? Zero. Not one. You did not build a single nursery, primary, or secondary school, and you built no universities. How then do you expect educational standards to improve? As a matter of fact, instead of schools, your administration fostered 486 exam 'miracle' centres in Anambra, where exam fraud produced many Mmesomma Ejikemes. You, Peter Obi, made Anambra the examination malpractice capital of the world. You almost got the state delisted by WAEC until the Obiano government closed them down under pressure from WAEC two months after taking over from you.In conclusion, I will urge you to buy a mirror and look at it. The reflection you see is who is to blame for what you are complaining about today.
What do you think about this criticism?
