A young mother has shared an emotional story after her five-year-old daughter survived a dangerous fall that many believed would have ended in tragedy.

According to the mother, the little girl, who is her only child, had followed her friends to a nearby compound behind their house to pick fallen mangoes. Unknown to her, the child climbed a tall mango tree during the outing.

The situation quickly turned tragic when the girl reportedly fell from the top of the tree and landed on a hard cemented surface.

“I suddenly heard people shouting my name,” the mother said. “I ran there and saw my daughter lying on the ground, not moving.”

She explained that the child’s condition was very serious. Her neck was bent to one side, her eyes were rolled back, and she was not breathing.

People at the scene reportedly believed the worst had happened.

“Some were already saying she was gone,” the mother said. “One woman even wanted to cover her body.”

However, the mother refused to give up. She carried her daughter and began to cry out in desperation, calling on God for help.

“I prayed with all my heart,” she said.
