Husband Accuses Wife of Ingratitude After Funding Her Education, Says Marriage Now in Crisis Over Salary Dispute

A man has taken to social media to share a troubling account of how his eight-year marriage is falling apart after a heated conflict over finances and expectations.

According to him, he and his wife have been together for over eight years and share three daughters. He said he never blamed her or reacted negatively because they had only female children, insisting he had “always had a good heart” toward her.

He explained that at the start of their marriage, he asked her not to work because he felt financially capable of providing for the family. After some years, she complained of boredom and expressed interest in starting a business with a loan from a friend. Instead, he said he saved money and enrolled her in a nursing college, covering all expenses.

She eventually graduated and, in a stroke of luck, was hired by one of the biggest hospitals in their city as a professional nurse and midwife. He noted that her salary turned out to be higher than his own earnings from business.

The husband said he expected that, out of appreciation for the opportunities he provided, his wife would eventually start giving him at least half of her monthly salary. However, for five years, he claims she has never given him any portion of her income.

Instead, he said she began contributing heavily to the household — paying for the children’s school fees, handling groceries, and even offering to cover their annual house rent, though he refused that offer. He was also shocked to learn she had started constructing a house of her own.

He said the situation pushed him to finally demand that she split her salary with him every month. According to him, she became upset, and the issue triggered repeated arguments that have severely damaged their marriage.

The man added that he reported the matter to her family several times but said they did nothing to “call her to order.” He claimed his wife has now requested a divorce, describing the marriage as “toxic” because of his insistence on sharing her income.

He expressed deep frustration, accusing her and her family of planning from the start to “use” him, become successful, and then abandon him. He described her actions as betrayal, insisting that he supported her when her family had nothing and that he funded her education and career.

The husband ended his message by saying he believes karma will act accordingly and asked the public to “expose” his wife and her family, insisting he has been wronged.
