22-Year-Old Woman Accuses Husband of Neglect, Lies and Hardship, Says She Wants to Leave Marriage

A 22-year-old woman has taken to social media to share a heartbreaking story of how her marriage, which began in 2023, has brought her nothing but pain, neglect, and disappointment.

According to her account, she met her husband while working as a salesgirl for his brother. She said she never dated him but agreed to marry him after he approached her. She later discovered that he had lied about his age — he claimed he was 35, but she eventually learned he was 45.

The young woman revealed that they now share a son, but life since their wedding has been extremely difficult. She said her husband does nothing for her or their child “from January to December.”

She recalled that after she gave birth, he allegedly starved her to the point where she had to report to her parents. Her family asked her to return home temporarily, but after her husband denied her accusations, her father told her to go back and monitor him more closely.

Despite returning, she said nothing changed. As a student, she said she has been responsible for all her expenses, including clothing for herself and their baby. She described her husband as a “chronic liar” and a very stingy man who provides no support.

The young mother said she is exhausted and wants to leave the marriage this year, but fears her father may not allow her to move back home.

“I’m a young girl. I need to feel loved,” she wrote, begging the public for advice on how to navigate her situation.

Her message has since drawn sympathy online, with many urging her family to protect her and her child, while others say her safety and mental well-being should come before any cultural pressure to remain in a difficult marriage.
