A young woman has taken to social media to share a painful experience, claiming she was deceived for years by a man who allegedly promised to divorce his wife and marry her, only for the relationship to end in heartbreak and disappointment.

According to her account, she first met the man in 2022 and assumed he was single and sincere. She said she was drawn to his confidence and appearance, believing he had genuine intentions toward her.

She later learned he was married with two children. However, she said he repeatedly assured her that he was unhappy in his marriage and was already preparing to leave. The woman alleged that he claimed his parents pressured him into the marriage and that he no longer had any emotional connection with his wife.

Believing his promises, she continued the relationship. Their affair lasted about three years, during which she became pregnant. The two now share a one-year-old daughter.

However, her story took a painful turn when she reportedly discovered that the man had never initiated any divorce proceedings, contrary to what he had repeatedly told her. Instead, she alleged that he emotionally manipulated her for years and even collected money from her while giving little support in return.

She said the man recently gave a new excuse — claiming he could not marry a woman who already had children from previous relationships. This, she said, shocked her, as he was fully aware of her situation long before their daughter was born.

Feeling betrayed, the woman posted her experience publicly as a warning to other women to be cautious in relationships with men who make similar promises.

She urged other ladies to “shine their eyes,” emphasizing that deception in relationships can lead to deep emotional and financial damage.
