The couple, who had faced mockery and stigma from neighbors and friends, said all medical tests over the years confirmed that both of them were healthy, yet they could not conceive. Out of shame, the woman admitted she once faked pregnancies three times, claiming miscarriages to avoid public ridicule.
Her mother-in-law, who moved in during the supposed pregnancies, later discovered the truth. In a heart-to-heart conversation, she encouraged her daughter-in-law, reminding her that only God gives children. She quoted scriptures, including Isaiah 54:1, to strengthen her faith.
At one point, the woman even asked her husband to take another wife, but the plan was stopped by her mother-in-law, who instead chose to live with them, pray with them daily, and take her daughter-in-law to church for encouragement.
According to the woman, one verse from the Bible, Psalm 113:9, gave her renewed hope.
Today, the couple is celebrating the miraculous arrival of their six babies after years of waiting. In tears of gratitude, the mother thanked her mother-in-law for her wisdom, love, and prayers which kept her faith alive through the difficult years.
The news of the sextuplets has sparked widespread celebration, with many describing it as a testimony of hope, perseverance, and the power of faith.
