In an emotional statement, the young father recounted the devastating moment he received the news of his wife’s passing. According to him, he broke down uncontrollably and even collapsed in shock.
“When they told me my wife had passed away after she delivered a baby boy, I ran to the toilet and started pooping on the floor uncontrollably,” he said.
Despite the heartbreaking loss, Bankyroy expressed gratitude for the life of his newborn son, describing the baby as unusually calm and peaceful.
“The baby is very peaceful and doesn’t disturb despite the fact that he is not breastfeeding. Even after he was circumcised, he didn’t cry like other babies, he slept peacefully. He is my happiness. May God protect him for me,” he added.
Bankyroy and his wife had often shared happy moments together on social media, with fans celebrating their love story. Her sudden death has therefore left many in shock, with followers and sympathizers flooding his page with condolence messages.
The grieving father is now left with the responsibility of raising his newborn son alone, while trying to heal from the deep wound of losing his partner just when they were about to begin a new chapter in life.
