Former Abia State governor and current Abia North Senator, Orji Uzor Kalu, has declared his unwavering commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC), stating he is ready to lay down his life for the party, particularly in Abia State.
Speaking to journalists at his country home in Igbere on Tuesday, June 10, Kalu responded to questions about the APC’s chances of defeating the Labour Party (LP) in the 2027 general election in Abia State. He expressed strong confidence in the APC’s strength, especially in Abia North, where he represents in the Senate.
“APC is strong in Abia. Like I said in my interview, I am ready to lay down my life for the party. I am a member of the party and a strong one at that. I am APC to the core. That’s why APC is strong in Abia North,” Kalu said.
He further assured that the APC would work tirelessly to deliver the state for the President in 2027, citing past successes and promising a repeat performance.
