A young Nigerian woman has taken to social media to share her deep emotional story about how her baby daddy abandoned her during her pregnancy, only to return many years later—after his marriage crashed.
According to the woman, who shared the story anonymously, her baby daddy denied the pregnancy at first and even pressured her to abort it. When she refused, she was forced to involve the Welfare office, and they mandated him to take responsibility for both mother and child.
Although they were no longer in a relationship, he later came back while she was six months pregnant, begging for forgiveness and reconciliation. He even involved his sister and her mother to help convince her. Out of love and pressure, she accepted him back.
But the peace didn’t last.

Three months after their daughter was born, she discovered he was cheating on her with a wealthy woman in their neighbourhood. When she confronted him, he told her bluntly—in the presence of the lady—that he didn’t want her anymore and that she should stop forcing herself on him.
Broken and humiliated, she cried in her bathroom that day and vowed to move on.
“I decided to be happy and build a life for myself and my daughter,” she wrote.
Months later, she heard he had married the same woman and relocated to Ghana with her. She raised their daughter alone for over six years, without any financial or emotional support from him.
Eventually, she met a kind, responsible man who accepted her and her daughter. They got married two months ago.
Now, after all these years, her ex is suddenly trying to come back.
She said he’s been calling and texting her persistently, even using different phone numbers to reach her. When she contacted his sister to ask why, she was told that his marriage had ended and he now wants to reconnect.
“He even wants me to meet him at his sister’s house this coming Sunday,” she said. “But I’ve blocked him. I don’t want to see him. He hurt me badly.”
The woman added that her new husband doesn’t know about the situation yet, because she doesn’t want to disturb him or make him feel uncomfortable.
“I’ve moved on. I don’t want anything to do with him. But he won’t let me be,” she added in tears.
She is now asking for help and advice from the public on what to do to make it clear to her baby daddy that his chapter in her life is permanently closed.
