In furtherance of its statutory role of Aid to Civil Authority, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has donated medical relief materials to flood victims in Borno State.
The 104 cartons of assorted medical supplies were airlifted to Maiduguri by NAF C-130 Hercules aircraft on 29 September 2024.
The Air Component Commander of Operation Hadin Kai (ACC OPHK) subsequently handed over the donated items to the Borno State Government.
The donation, consisting of essential medicines and medical consumables, is aimed at alleviating the suffering of those affected by the disaster.
The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, while reaffirming NAF's commitment to the safety and wellbeing of all Nigerians, assures the Borno State Government of the NAF's unwavering support for the ongoing disaster relief efforts.
The NAF will continue to do its part, in collaboration with sister Services and other security stakeholders, to ensure the security and well-being of all law-abiding Nigerians.
