I applied to more than 10 flight schools. They all rejected me, except one - the Spartan College of Aeronautics in Oklahoma, USA, where I went ahead to become a pilot.
There were many challenges and hurdles to cross, including the FAA's SODA test which I passed. And in 2019, I became the first world's first commercial quadruple amputee pilot😲
People discouraged me and told me that I couldn't become a pilot. But I have been a commercial pilot for five years and have now taught over 200 students how to fly.
