Aquarius CMP NS M11
Aurora is a Russian operating system based on SailfishOS. It is intended for use in public institutions where the protection of information from surveillance and leaks is important.
Most often it can be found in tablets, but smartphones based on it also exist.
The creation of one of them in December 2021 was announced by the Aquarius company, which develops and produces equipment for corporate needs.
At one time, she was noted for the production of 260 thousand tablets for the census, so she has a certain percentage of trust.
Despite the purely utilitarian purpose, Aquarius CMP NS M11 (that's what it is called) can hardly be called a rough and outdated "bar", although, of course, there is no special aesthetics in its design. Matte black plastic case, dual main camera, large 6.67" screen with a built-in front camera.
It looks like a typical budget smartphone of recent years.
The processor is an unnamed eight-core chipset built on ARM cores. Judging by the serial number of the demo, most likely something from Mediatek, like Helio P22 or P35.
The battery capacity is 5000 mAh. Unfortunately, these are all currently known characteristics.
The new PDA, as Aquarius calls it, is designed to work with the Aurora 4 operating system, but can optionally be equipped with KasperskyOS or modified Android 9.
The first batch of 200 copies, assembled at its own plant in Shuya, has already gone on sale. In the future, the company plans to increase production to 3,000 units, as well as develop a special version of the smartphone with protection from dust and moisture.
