Could this be the way to stop reeking of elections in Nigeria - INEC and Civil Society asks President Buhari to sign an electoral act amendment bill.

For ascent reasons. The latest report claims that the National Assembly has passed a bill and transmitted the documents to President Buhari on November 19.
However, Clement Nwankwu, the President's Executive Director, Policy and Legal Advocacy. Advises Buhari to use the weekly federal executive council [FEC] meeting to sign the bill. Alongside Festus Okoye, present INEC National commissioner, said that ascent will deprive its preparation for further polls.
According to one channel television, Festus said:
"We will appreciate it if the president can sign this particular bill as expeditiously as possible. To ensure us to prepare the process and procedures for the coming governorship election in Ekiti and Osun States, as well as the 2023 general elections".
Of course, Nwankwu says it is expedient to have this bill signed.
He said;
"I think it is expedient to have these bills signed. I will say the president should have an FEC meeting on Wednesday. That should be the option to sign the bills in order to build confidence for Nigerians" he concluded.
This bill, however, is said to have generated indifference during its considerations. Since it aims at resolutions issues, concerning INEC's introduction of modern technology, into the electoral process, particularly accreditation of voters, electronic voting, and electronic transmission of results from the various polling units.
This bill will see electoral bodies use electronic voting, as well as the transmission of results in an election.
