According to the mother, the tragedy began about two weeks ago when the young woman received a visit from a female friend who now lives in the city. The two spoke for nearly 40 minutes before the visitor asked her to accompany her to the main road. The daughter agreed, unaware of the danger ahead.

While walking, a man in a big car stopped and called the young woman over. She refused at first, but her friend encouraged her to “see what the man wanted.” The man reportedly asked for her phone number, and when she explained she had no phone, he offered to buy her one and asked her to enter his car. She declined again.

At that point, her friend began pressuring her, mocking her for rejecting the offer. The man eventually stepped out of the car and handed the young woman some money to buy a phone. The girl immediately turned around and gave the money to her friend, saying, “Since you want it so much, you take it.” The friend accepted the cash and entered the man’s car.

The young woman returned home and narrated everything to her mother and aunt. They praised her for her wise decision and warned her to be careful around such friends.

But later that night, tragedy struck.

The family was awakened by a loud noise from the daughter’s room. They rushed in to find her struggling and bleeding heavily. According to her mother, the young woman kept whispering that she had a nightmare and repeated the words, “Mama, I’m leaving… The money… the money…” while crying and calling the name of the same friend who had visited earlier that day.

Moments later, she died in her mother’s hands.

The shocking and unexplained nature of her death has left the family devastated and searching for answers. The mother strongly believes the “cursed money” her daughter briefly touched played a role. She added that since the incident, the friend has not visited or contacted the family.

The young woman was buried two weeks ago, but the family says they are still in deep shock, struggling to come to terms with the sudden loss.
