A touching story is melting hearts online after a teenage girl publicly celebrated her father, Mr. Keze Edward, for single-handedly raising her since birth.
The young girl, who says she never met her mother because the woman left shortly after giving birth, shared that her father— a retired primary school teacher— has been her only source of love, care and emotional strength for the past 16 years.
According to her, financial challenges have never stopped her father from making sure she is happy, confident and well cared for. She revealed that although they cannot afford salon visits or expensive luxuries, her father always finds a way to make her look neat and stylish, often handling her hair himself.
She described him as a man who has played both “fatherly and motherly roles” in her life, adding that his sacrifices have taught her contentment, discipline and self-love.
The teenager also stated that she has no interest in relationships at the moment, stressing that her full focus is on her education so she can make her father proud and one day give him the comfort he truly deserves.
In her message addressed to her dad, she wrote:
“Daddy, you may not have much now, but you make my life richer in every way. Your love and presence make my world exciting and easier. I pray God blesses me so I can take good care of you. Thank you, Daddy.”
Her emotional tribute has since drawn widespread admiration, with many praising the father for his dedication and celebrating the beautiful bond the two share.
