A woman has shared her powerful testimony of how her life was completely transformed after years of mental illness, homelessness, and rejection — showing that there is truly nothing impossible for God. According to her, about three years ago, her life was in complete ruins. She had lost her mind and was living on the streets, eating from bins, and sleeping in abandoned buildings.
In her words, “About 3 years ago, my life was in ruins. I was wandering the streets, eating from bins, scavenging for food, and picking up items in the streets. I was struggling with my mental health.”
She explained that her family initially tried to help but later gave up when nothing seemed to work.
She said, “My family was ashamed and didn’t know how to help. They took me to native doctors and herbal healers, but nothing worked. Eventually, they grew tired and set me loose. Even my own family abandoned me.”
Her situation worsened as she roamed the streets, losing touch with reality. She recalled that there were moments when she would regain her senses briefly, realise her condition, and cry bitterly before slipping back into confusion again.
“There were nights when I came back to my senses. I would cry but I was helpless because it only happened for a few minutes,” she said.
But one day, everything changed.
A kind stranger noticed her and decided to help. The person took her to church, where prayers were offered for her healing, and later arranged for her to be taken to a hospital for proper treatment.
She said, “A kind person noticed me, took me to church for prayers, and later took me to the hospital for help. While at the hospital, prayer sessions were organised almost every week, and soon, I started to feel better.”
Gradually, she recovered fully and regained her peace of mind. Today, she is completely healed, happily married, and blessed with a son.
With joy in her heart, she said, “Today, I am completely healed and happy! I am now married to the man I believe God sent to save me, and we have a lovely, cute son. Please help me thank this good God for giving me another chance at life.”
Her story has inspired many people online who believe her recovery is a miracle and a sign that no situation is too hopeless for God to turn around.
