In a post that quickly went viral, Blord shared a screenshot from OPay, showing the recipient’s name as Vivian Otse Vincent linked to the number 09034281962 — the same contact reportedly used by VDM to advertise a ₦280,000 phone deal.
Blord captioned his post:
“Had to confirm this in OPay, so na family business una been wan use Blord name do? 😂”
This post came shortly after another user, identified as Fidelis, accused VDM of lying about the phone transaction. According to Fidelis, Truecaller and OPay checks revealed that the number VDM had presented as belonging to a Chinese phone manufacturer actually belonged to his sister.
Fidelis wrote:
“See the Chinese number VDM put up yesterday — that number is his sister’s number! And VDM says he’s not making any gains from selling the phone for ₦280k? 😂😂😂 Truecaller and OPay clearly show it’s not anyone in China, or any manufacturer, it’s for his sister. Las las na una Nigerians hand go meet. Na my money? No! Ntooor.”
The screenshots shared online clearly display the OPay verification interface with the name Vivian Otse Vincent, strengthening the claims that the alleged “manufacturer” number was actually linked to someone in Nigeria.
This latest twist has reignited heated debates across social media, with Nigerians split between those supporting Blord’s “exposé” and others defending VDM, urging caution until all sides are heard.
Some commenters argued that VDM might have used his sister’s account for convenience, while others accused him of deception and questioned his claims of “integrity” in online deals.
As of now, neither VDM nor his sister has issued a direct public statement addressing the allegations, but Blord’s post continues to trend across platforms, sparking intense online reactions and memes.
The controversy adds another layer to the ongoing feud between the outspoken activist and Blord, leaving Nigerians waiting to see if more evidence or explanations will surface in the coming days.
