Police officers were called to the scene, and on arrival, they discovered the lifeless body of the young man with fatal stab wounds. According to officials, Mabasa did not run away. She was still at the apartment when police came. She was arrested immediately and taken into custody at a local police station, where she is currently being held while investigations continue.
