Popular Nigerian singer and entertainer Darey Art Alade narrowly escaped a terrifying car fire incident on the 3rd Mainland Bridge on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025.
According to reports shared on his official Instagram page, the incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. when his vehicle suddenly caught fire and was completely burnt to the ground. Thankfully, no lives were lost, and the driver of the car managed to escape unhurt.
“It was a shocking and painful experience,” Darey wrote. “But we’re incredibly grateful that the driver made it out safely. No lives were lost, and that’s what truly matters.”
Darey, known for his soulful music and captivating TV appearances, used the incident to remind fans of the fleeting nature of material possessions and the importance of gratitude.
“Moments like this remind us how quickly things can change and how unimportant material things become in the face of life itself,” he shared. “We’re not sharing this for sympathy but to remind someone that things can be replaced. Lives cannot.”
