A Nigerian man has taken to social media to share his emotional ordeal after breaking ulp with a woman he described as a single mom of twins. In his words, he regrets ever dating her and now wants full custody of the child they had together.
According to the man, he met the woman in 2022 and was told she had two daughters from a previous relationship. At the time, the children were living with their grandmother in the village, while she worked in town as a nurse. He claims he agreed to date her under the condition that her kids wouldn’t be part of their relationship.
Eight months into the relationship, she got pregnant. Sadly, her mother passed away when she was seven months pregnant, leading to the twins relocating to live with her permanently in town.
The man said he became uncomfortable and asked her to take the children to their father. She allegedly refused, saying their father had once denied the pregnancy and had since remarried.
“I’ve never wanted anything to do with those children,” the man said. “I tried to manage the situation, but I couldn’t keep up. I felt disrespected and used.”
He eventually ended the relationship, moved on, and is now married to another woman. However, he’s demanding that his ex hand over full custody of their daughter, claiming he doesn’t want his resources going to raise children who aren’t his.
“She’s using my money to feed her other kids,” he added. “If she thinks I’ll keep playing father to another man’s children, it won’t work.”
The man said he will continue to speak out until the child is released to him. He also accused the woman of trying to take advantage of his support.
As of now, there has been no response from the woman involved.
