A Nigerian lady, Mkpouto Pius, has offered to help Goddy Precious Mbakwe, the student expelled from Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), secure a scholarship abroad.
Precious was expelled for allegedly fighting a lecturer, but Mkpouto insists the lecturer was at fault. In a Facebook post, she revealed that Precious and her parents have accepted her offer to explore foreign school opportunities.
“The girl is not breaking down. She’s very fine. Her family is solidly behind her,” Mkpouto wrote, dismissing online narratives.
She also alleged that the university has been trying to persuade Precious to apologise publicly in exchange for reinstatement.
“They just want a public apology so it seems like she admitted fault,” she claimed, adding that Precious’ family refuses to comply.
Mkpouto encouraged Precious to consider legal action, arguing that the lecturer should be held accountable.
