Agnes painfully narrated how her uncle took away her purity when she was only 12 years old. This act happened one week after they buried her mother, which left her with a scar that has never healed to date.
She was born as the firstborn in a family of two children by a single mother. According to her, her mother gave birth to her while she was HIV positive. Her mother would give her pills to swallow and lie to her, saying they were for treating the flu.

One week after the burial, the drunkard uncle returned home slightly drunk at around 9 PM when they were asleep. He woke her up and asked her to serve him food. She innocently woke up and served him food, but on her way back to bed, the uncle held her hand and started touching her inappropriately.
He threatened to hurt her if she screamed. He went ahead and covered her mouth with his shirt, molested her, and left her bleeding on the floor. Two days later, she took her brother and left the home.
They walked for days before reaching Gilgil town, where they started street life. Years later, they relocated to Naivasha, where they have been living on the streets. She has given birth to two children, but life has not been easy. She is therefore requesting people of goodwill to help her with a job or money to start a business so that she can leave the streets.
