The Nigerian Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) recently conducted a major raid in Nasarawa State. According to Prudentj2, this operation took place in Mararaba Market as well as New Nyanya and Masaka. NAFDAC seized fake wines and spirits valued at over N41.2 million.
NAFDAC explained that these drinks were dangerous, and their Investigation & Enforcement team is now working to track down those who made or imported these fake products.
NAFDAC advised consumers to stay alert when buying drinks and to report any suspicious products to the nearest NAFDAC office to help protect everyone.
