A tragic incident occurred at Wuxi Vocational College of Arts and Technology in Yixing City, China, on Saturday evening. A 21-year-old former student attacked people with a knife, leaving eight dead and 17 injured.
According to the police, the suspect, identified as Xu, said he carried out the attack because he was upset about not receiving his graduation certificate and was dissatisfied with his internship pay.
Xu was arrested at the scene and has confessed to the crime. Police are continuing their investigations, while efforts are being made to treat the injured.
