Why This Happened
The reason for the cancellation is because when two people with AS genotype get married, there is a high chance that their children could have a serious illness called sickle cell disease. This illness can cause a lot of pain and health problems.
This sad story reminds everyone why it is important to check genotypes before getting married. We pray that Ibrahim and Fatimah find peace and happiness in the future.
