Bishop Abioye's Last Message as He Retires from Oyedepo's Winners Chapel
Bishop David Abioye, the vice president of Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), officially retired after serving faithfully for years under Bishop David Oyedepo. During his farewell speech on October 18, 2024, at Goshen City, Nasarawa State, Abioye thanked Oyedepo and his wife for their unwavering support and the opportunity to serve.
He spoke warmly about his long-standing relationship with Oyedepo, spanning 45 years. While retiring from active pastorship, Abioye said he would continue to be part of what God is doing in the ministry, in full submission to the Holy Spirit.
He humorously added, “Na only the pastorship I dey leave oh, my love for this mission no dey retire!” He plans to remain involved in the church’s mission, which he considers home.
