The fatal crash, which left the entire nation in shock, took place near Storms River on the N2 highway.
The victims, including two young children, were traveling in a Mini Cooper when their car collided head-on with a Toyota Rav4, driven by a tourist couple from Dubai. The crash caused the Mini Cooper to overturn and catch fire, tragically killing all six family members instantly.

Accident Details:
The accident occurred around 17:30 at the N2 -9 21,6E marker. The Mini Cooper was traveling toward the Western Cape, while the Rav4 was heading to the Eastern Cape. Upon impact, the Mini Cooper burst into flames, leaving the family with no chance of survival.
Ongoing Investigation:
Authorities have launched an investigation into the accident, with the case being treated as culpable homicide. Simon Zwane, spokesperson for the Road Traffic Management Corporation, has confirmed that further inquiries will be made to determine the exact cause of the crash.
