Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, the father of popular Nigerian singer Davido, made a significant donation of N1 billion to the Cherubim and Seraphim Church in Lagos.
The donation was made in honor of his late mother, Nnena Esther Adeleke, during a thanksgiving service at the church's headquarters.
The event, which took place on Sunday, saw Dr. Adeleke presenting the donation to the church's Centenary Endowment Fund. His gesture was in memory of his mother, whom he described as a devout and committed member of the church.
Adding to the lively atmosphere, Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, who is Dr. Adeleke's brother, entertained the crowd with his dance moves, a highlight that caught the attention of attendees.
