Israel and Hamas continued to uphold their truce for a fifth day on Tuesday. Qatar's government said on Monday that the ceasefire, which was set to expire after four days, has been extended for an additional two days.
As of Monday, Hamas has released 51 Israeli women and children in exchange for the release of 150 Palestinian prisoners from Israel.
Hamas has also released 19 hostages with other nationalities.
Israel said the truce could be extended for as long as Hamas continues to release a minimum of 10 hostages per day.
Hamas has only released women and children so far and may need to negotiate for the release of men to extend the ceasefire beyond Wednesday.
Israel cleared an additional 50 Palestinian women for release, signaling that it may be willing to negotiate additional truce extensions.
Israeli security cabinet minister Gideon Saar told Army Radio that "warfighting will be renewed" once the hostage releases stop.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken plans to travel to Israel later this week, marking his third visit since the conflict began.
The U.S. State Department said Blinken will discuss efforts to "protect civilian life during Israel’s operations in Gaza," and "accelerate humanitarian assistance," in the region.

Hamas and other groups still hold about 160 of the 240 hostages captured during their assault on southern Israel on Oct. 7.
Releasing the hostages could potentially extend the truce for a further two weeks under the current agreement between Hamas and Israel.
Extensions to the truce would allow for more hostages to be released and for additional aid to be sent to southern Gaza, which faces severe food and water shortages
