The arrest of a woman who sold her 8-month-old baby for 600 thousand naira to pay a bank loan
Olade Adekunle, a 33-year-old woman, has been arrested by Ogun State Police men for allegedly selling her 18-month-old baby to an unknown buyer for 600,000 naira.

Confirming the arrest, SP Abimbola Oyemi, the spokesperson of the state police command, said the Superintendent of Police, DCP Babakura Mohammed, has transferred the suspect to the state Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation and possible recovery of the baby.
