A young lady was left badly injured after her boyfriend allegedly beat her up for ending their relationship. The sad incident happened in a local community, and photos of the lady, with blood all over her face and bruises on her body, have now gone viral on social media. According to people who shared the pictures, the lady had told the young man that she was no longer interested in the relationship. But instead of walking away in peace, the man reportedly turned violent. He attacked her, beat her up so badly that her nose was bleeding, and left her with swollen eyes and wounds all over her body.
People around were shocked to see what had happened to the poor girl. In one of the pictures, she is seen sitting on the floor, looking weak and in pain, while others were seen trying to calm her down. In another photo, she was seen trying to cover herself up, clearly embarrassed and hurt.
A witness who was around the area said, “She told the guy she was tired of the relationship, but the boy refused to let her go. He followed her and started beating her like a thief. This is not love. This is wickedness.”
Many people online have reacted strongly to the incident, asking why a man would choose to hurt a woman simply because she no longer wants to be with him. Some are calling for the boy to be arrested and punished.
“This is heartbreaking. Is it by force to love? If a woman says she is tired, just walk away. Love is not a war zone,” one user wrote on Facebook.
Others used the moment to advise young women to be careful with the kind of people they date. Some also reminded ladies to speak out early when they notice violent behaviour in a partner.
As at now, there is no official statement from the police. People are still demanding justice for the young woman.
