A Nigerian woman has shared a heartbreaking and mysterious experience that has left her in fear and confusion. The mother of three girls said her stomach began to swell and grow hard shortly after her ex-husband’s girlfriend threatened her, following a legal battle over a shop.
According to the woman, her troubles began after her marriage broke down due to her husband's affair with another woman. Despite trying to save her marriage through several family meetings, things only got worse. She eventually moved out with her children to live with her parents.
With time, she focused on her business and successfully expanded, renting a comfortable place for herself and her children. She said her husband made no financial contributions and had completely abandoned their children.
One day, while attending to customers at her shop, she noticed her husband’s girlfriend roaming around the store for about 10–15 minutes. She sent her salesgirl to ask what the woman wanted, but the visitor left without saying much. That same evening, she received messages from her husband asking her to return the shop keys, claiming he had handed over the shop to the other woman.
The next day, her husband arrived at the shop with the same girlfriend and demanded that she hand over the keys. Luckily, her two brothers were present and intervened, asking him to leave. The matter later went to court, where she won the shop and other properties. The court also granted her a monthly allowance for child support.
But just two weeks after the court ruling, the ex-husband’s girlfriend returned to the shop and issued a serious threat, warning the woman that she would make her suffer for refusing to hand over the shop. A week later, her stomach began to grow and harden without any known cause. She said she has visited several hospitals and undergone many scans, but doctors could not detect anything wrong.
The woman explained that she was once healthy and active, but the unexplained swelling has made her feel weak and scared. She is now calling on the public to remember her in their prayers, as she continues to seek both medical and spiritual solutions. She said she had even visited a traditional healer, hoping to find answers, but the condition remains unchanged.
Her story has touched many online, with people offering prayers and advice while urging health and spiritual authorities to take her case seriously.
As of now, the cause of her condition remains unknown, and she continues to battle a mysterious illness that began after what she believes was a serious spiritual threat.
