She said Verydarkman was trying to twist the truth and make her look bad before the public.
“You had to come out and do your normal manipulating tactics,” she said.
“I am a very wise woman. I am not like you that is very deceitful and corny. You have tried your best to bring me down, but you will not succeed,” she added with emotion.
The actress explained that everything she said about Naira Marley and Sam Larry in the past was based on what she saw online when Mohbad died.
She said she was shocked and angry after seeing a video where Naira Marley was dancing shortly after Mohbad’s death.
Iyabo said she used to promote Naira Marley’s music before the tragedy, but things changed when videos started flying online.
She also recalled seeing a video of Sam Larry confronting Mohbad and Zlatan, which made her believe the bullying story.
“As a concerned Nigerian and a mother, I had to speak out. I used my social media page to demand justice,” she said.
Iyabo made it clear that her actions were never based on hatred or clout chasing, but on what any mother would have done after seeing such heartbreaking clips.
She did not deny that the meeting at the cybercrime centre took place, but she refused to accept that she agreed to any public apology.
Iyabo’s reaction has sparked mixed reactions online.
