The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has invited Mr. Alex Onyia, the CEO of EDUCARE, to join a special panel set up to review the 2025 UTME results. This move comes after many students raised concerns over the results released by JAMB.
In an official letter sent on May 13, 2025, JAMB stated that the panel is meant to review how the 2025 UTME was conducted. The goal is to identify any problems and make sure such issues do not happen again in the future.
The review meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 15, 2025. Alex Onyia is one of the selected members of the panel, which includes top education stakeholders like principals, university heads, examiners, and other professionals in the education sector.
What Alex Onyia Said
Mr. Onyia also shared the news on his X (formerly Twitter) page. He promised to be transparent with the outcome of the review. You can see his full post here.
“I received a formal invitation from JAMB for us to transparently conduct a thorough review of the 2025 JAMB exam. The review date is next tomorrow (Thursday).
