This development comes shortly after 2Baba publicly proposed to Natasha Osawaru, a lawmaker in the Edo State House of Assembly, following his announced separation from his wife, Annie Idibia. In a viral video, 2Baba is seen presenting a ring to Ms. Osawaru, which has since generated significant public attention.
In light of these events, 2Baba's mother, Rose Idibia, released a video pleading with Ms. Osawaru to "free her son," expressing concerns that he is not acting in his right senses. She urged all mothers in Nigeria to join her in appealing to Ms. Osawaru to release 2Baba from any alleged influence.
The Idibia family has formally requested the DSS to intervene urgently, investigate the circumstances surrounding 2Baba's disappearance, and assist in locating and rescuing him. They emphasized the gravity of the situation, noting that 2Baba's sudden absence is out of character and has left his family, friends, and fans deeply concerned.
As of now, there has been no official statement from 2Baba's management regarding his disappearance. The public remains anxious as authorities work to uncover the circumstances surrounding the singer's sudden absence.
