Controversial Nigerian artist Speed Darlington has once again targeted Grammy-winning musician Burna Boy, just hours after being released from detention. In a new tirade, Speed Darlington accused Burna Boy of orchestrating his arrest due to comments he previously made about the artist.
"The fact that Burna Boy went ahead to arrest me after what I said about him has just proven that he is 'Gabriel.' If he didn’t do anything with Diddy, he wouldn’t be bothered," Speed Darlington claimed in his statement. He also vowed to continue speaking his mind, promising to release more songs directed at Burna Boy.
Social media platforms have since erupted with reactions to Speed Darlington's allegations and statements. While some netizens criticized his approach and advised him to focus on his career, others questioned the validity of his claims.
A user, Christian Okolocha, commented, “Until you are imprisoned in Nigeria, you will not learn your lessons. Remember the court systems here are not the same abroad.” Another commenter, Yong’wizle Ufo Oduns, added, “I have seen that Akpi really doesn’t like to be at peace.”
Others humorously suggested that Speed Darlington should switch to platforms like TikTok or YouTube live streaming if his intention is to stay relevant.
Speed Darlington’s public feud with Burna Boy has been a recurring topic, with many urging him to move on and focus on his music career. Meanwhile, Burna Boy has yet to publicly respond to these fresh accusations.
