I went to Dubai to eat shit for 20 million Naira, and now I’m losing my life.
It was February 2020, and I was broke. I was living in a slum in Lagos State. In fact, I was the definition of poor. One day, I met a girl in the market who introduced me to another girl. She told me about a "connection" to go to Dubai, where we would eat shit for seven days and get paid 20 million Naira each. She assured me that our travel expenses would be covered.
Without thinking twice, I agreed. I told myself that after eating it, I’d simply rush to the bathroom and vomit. But when we got to Dubai, I was met with a shocking reality.
What the girl didn’t tell us was that for seven days, we’d be eating shit as our only food—morning, afternoon, and night. That was the first shock. The second shock was that we weren’t allowed to use the toilet immediately after eating. We had to stay with them for at least two hours before being excused.
I wanted to back out, but they said I’d have to pay for the tickets and other expenses. Knowing I couldn’t afford that, and being in a foreign land, I had no choice but to stay.
For seven days, we ate shit. Those Arab men treated us like animals. Even now, when I remember what I went through in their hands, I wish I had stayed poor on the streets of Ajegunle.
When we returned home, I enjoyed the money briefly, but then the health issues began. Two years later, I started experiencing unexplained illnesses. Sometimes I vomit blood and greenish substances. My body emits a foul odor that has made it impossible for me to go out. Everyone covers their nose when I walk by.
Young girls, please don’t ruin your lives in the quest for quick money. Sugar, please help me. I desperately need help—medical, spiritual, anything. I’m ready to accept any form of assistance.
