Blogger Apologizes to Bello El-Rufai Over False EFCC Raid Report

The blogger, Sabina Nkiru, has responded to the lawsuit filed against her by Bello El-Rufai, son of former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai. She released a short statement to explain her side of the story and apologized for her actions.

Sabina said she saw the post about the EFCC raiding Bello’s home online and shared it, mentioning the original author. She explained that the post was not hers and that she later found out it was false. 

According to her, she had already posted a correction and tagged it as false before Bello reacted to it.

In her tweet, the blogger said she acted in good faith and apologized for sharing the false story. She said she never intended to spread fake news and thanked everyone for understanding her position.
