Popular Nigerian singer Reminisce has shared his perspective on why some men find it challenging to be romantic towards women. He also highlighted the daily stress many men endure to provide for their families.
In a video posted on the official YouTube channel of Pulse Nigeria during an interactive session with fellow singer Vector, Reminisce explained that the physical and mental toll men face daily often leaves them too exhausted to show affection. He noted that these challenges are a significant factor in why some men appear less romantic.
He said, "I was having a conversation with somebody about Nigerian men, and the lady alleged that some Nigerian men are not romantic. I told her that it is not as easy as it seems. I'm 40 years old now, I'm unemployed, and it's my choice not to work because I just want to be self-employed. Some men wake up very early in the morning just to be punctual at the office, and they come home late at night. That's why it's not easy for them to engage with the family because they will be very tired. A lot of men go through stress every day to satisfy women, that's why they are not romantic."
Reminisce’s candid statement sheds light on the struggles many men face in balancing their responsibilities and relationships.
