Make $10 to $100 daily with Adsense
When I see a lot of people engage in a powerful conversation about Adsense, a good blogging niche, CPC, full time income, etc. - I always understand what it's like.
But what everyone, mostly new bloggers, fail to understand is that sufficient traffic is required in a big way. I recently visited the nairaland webmaster forum section and most people are talking and thinking about wanting to learn how to make $10/day with Google Adsense.
For some, at least $10/day is fine. Earning $10 a day from Google Adsense should be the first goal that all new bloggers should achieve.
At the end of the day, it's all about traffic. There are many factors that affect the overall income of a website, but the main indicator is traffic. Not just regular traffic, but 75% of that traffic should be organic.
So how much traffic do you really need to make $10/day with Adsense? Getting about 10,000 visitors per month is certainly one of the criteria for earning $10 per month and more. Most blogs/sites can earn up to $100 with this kind of traffic. However, always remember that such income does not have to come from a single website. It can be spread over several websites in the range of 10-20 pages. With 3 of them generating 90%.
Am I really confirming that 10,000 visitors/month will always equate to $10/day? Of course not. It can be lower, or even much higher. There are so many factors at play that it won't be different for everyone. Although this is a close guess.
To understand how Adsense really works, there are important parameters to understand properly, one of them is RPM.
The main metric you need to calculate your AdSense for web income is RPM.
What is RPM?
It's basically a calculation of how much money you've made per 1000 visitors. It is calculated based on your traffic, CTR (click through rate) and CPC (cost per click). The average RPM I have experienced with Adsense is about $5 to $10 for a broad niche and up to $100 for a more competitive high CPC niche.
If you are able to know your RPM, you can accurately estimate the earning potential for excellent traffic numbers as well as the volume of traffic you will need to make a full time income.
For example, if you're earning an average of $10 RPM on one of your websites, that's $10 for every 1000 visitors to your website.
So you can easily calculate that if you increased your traffic to 100,000 visitors, you would earn $1000. If you increased that to 1,000,000, you would make $10,000. Once again, not entirely accurate, but a first class opinion.
Today's guide is focused on the requirements to earn $10 per day from your existing blog (or even a new blog you are about to start) from Google Adsense.
If you are currently using/earning $6 from 2000 page views per day then your RPM is $3 (6 x 1000/2000) and if you are earning $8 from 1000 page views per day then your RPM is $6 (6 x 1 000/1000). We will connect all the stats/maths in RPM and figure out how to make $10 a day from Adsense.
RPM is not exactly the same for all types of blogs like business, technology, investment, news, entertainment, free stuff, finance and education etc… blogs will have different RPM (because CPC and CTR would be different for each blog).
Practically, I'd say $3 RPM is reasonable and your goal should be to get more than that. If you are generating $2 to $3 RPM, then you should spend more time increasing your RPM to $6 or more dollars.
In order to earn $10 per day from Adsense, you must vividly understand the following;
- Assuming a $4 RPM, you'll likely earn $4 for every 1000 pageviews generated from your site per day. To get $10 a day from Adsense, multiply that by 3 (that gives you $12, even though it's $2 more than $10) to get a rounded value of $10 a day. This simply means that your blog needs to generate 3000 page views per day to earn $10 per day from Google Adsense.
- Do you think generating 3000 pageviews per day is a difficult task?… It will be difficult for all new bloggers and even old bloggers who are under pressure to generate minimum traffic for their blogs.
- Let me technically break down 3,000 page views per day so you can clearly understand where I'm coming from.
- Can you create 30 quality articles on your blog, each of which can generate 100 PV per day?
- Can you craft 60 articles that can generate 50 PV per day?
- Or can you make 120 articles that can generate 25 PV per day?
- Most people opt for these 15 articles that can generate 200 PV per day?
- OR simple but packed 3 killer cells that can generate 1000 PV per day.
It is your decision and it is up to you to choose which one suits your status.
Finally, we need a real 3000 pageviews per day to earn $10 per day from Google Adsense assuming an RPM of $3.5.
Want to earn $100/day? Here's what you need to know
Most bloggers are very optimistic, just like me. But sometimes you need to streamline your goal into something realistic. Reaching $100 a day is achievable because others have reached that height and are still aiming for a higher limit.
In this guide, we will use the closest possible approximation. Given this simple case study; Let's use $1 CPC and 5% CTR. So, using these predictive statistics, can you estimate the amount of traffic we need to earn $100 per day?
The first step is to figure out how many clicks will be proportional to $100.
That will definitely be 100 / 1 = 100 clicks.
If we are looking for 100 clicks at 5% CTR, the total traffic should be proportional/equivalent to 100 / 0.05 = 2000.
Practically, we need about 2000 visitors per day. In a month it will definitely be 2000 x 30 = 60000.
Looking at 150,000 visitors every month will earn you $100/day with Adsense. However, this is only from my opinion using exceptionally modeled characters. Maintaining an average CPC of $1 or more isn't easy, and CPC is a huge aspect of how much traffic you'll need to get there.
Some blogs consistently get above 10% CTR while others get below 2%. Some of my sites have a CPC of $2-5 while others never get above $0.30.
Let's keep in mind; RPM is the amount of money generated from 1000 visitors to your website. If you get 1,000 visitors at $1 CPC and 5% CTR, that's 50 clicks (5% of 1,000) at $1 per click.
Getting $50 RPM is actually huge. If I was getting $50 RPM on the site, I would actually create more posts and muscle content to increase those traffic stats.
From there, you can effectively calculate predictable income based on your potential traffic goals.
Considering the increase in traffic to 500,000 visitors per month, that's $25,000 per month. Gentlemen!!! Everyone loves this experience.
In addition to updating your goal of earning at least $10 per day, your blog must follow these highlighted parameters.
Important factors that will help you make $10 to $100 daily with Adsense
1. Choose the best and almost perfect niche
In order to earn at least $10 a day, your niche must be near perfect and interesting. Not only that, it should be able to earn you the money you desire. There are lots of top paying areas to blog on such as technology, automobiles, blogging, make money online, health, investment and insurance. Choose the one that suits your expertise, write quality articles and deliver relevant content without plagiarism. The entertainment niche doesn't pay enough and can't earn you $10 a day from AdSense.
2. Choose the right keywords
Your blog should have high or low paying keywords. although we can't say what the best CPC is but I would say you should make sure your average CPC is above $0.25. If you target keywords with a higher CPC, this rate will be higher, so will the RPM. In my experience, anything related to "Free" will not yield a good CPC. This can range from content focused on free images, free web hosting, free domains, free phones, etc. Such keywords will not support your $10 per day campaign.
3. Pay more attention to organic traffic
This is very important because your blog may require around 2100 page views per day through search engines.
Organic and natural traffic is very important for making money from Adsense. Assuming that the average blog traffic from a search engine should be somewhere around 70%. Therefore, of our expected 3000 PV per day, 70% is 2100 PV.
You need to ensure that about 70% of your daily traffic comes through search engines. Because they are basically new visitors to your blog and they might click on your AdSense ads.
4. Make sure your blog is properly optimized (SEO)
Search engine optimization is a very important parameter and determines your search engine ranking. All your content must meet certain SEO rules to earn $10 a day. The importance of SEO goes beyond common understanding. This is central to blogging. This is why most blogs don't last long. It will disappear after a while due to neglecting proper and effective SEO. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) has long been a necessary tactic for business success and is becoming more applicable. SEO is the practice of getting traffic from "free", "organic" or "normal" search engine results.
All major search engines such as Google, Bing and Yahoo have key search results where web pages and other content such as videos or local listings are displayed and sorted by what the search engine deems most relevant to the user.
5. Get traffic from native speakers of English countries
To earn $10 a day from Adsense, your blog readers must be from countries like USA, UK, Canada, New Zealand, etc. These are high CPC countries. Even if your blog ends up meeting the above requirements but not receiving a reasonable amount of visitors/readers from specific countries (where generally CPC and Adsense ads are diverse and extremely targeted), then the CPC will be lower and your intention to build and generate $10 per day would not be achieved. Getting reasonable clicks from the above countries like USA, Canada, UK and Australia pays much more than other South Asian countries, African countries and even most Middle Eastern countries.
as a result, even if your blog gets 3000 PV daily from Google, but most of the traffic comes from South African countries, African countries like Nigeria, Asian countries like Pakistan, Iran and even India, in that case I have no regrets, you will be able to generate a speed of 3.5$ RPM.
This is the basic reason why you need to focus on a topic that can be of interest to all readers from virtually all over the world.
Conclusion
Receiving 2000 daily search engine hits may vary for each blog depending on content, ad placement and niche/keyword selection. If you really have high paying keywords and are receiving good traffic from search engines from all parts of the world (especially US and UK), maybe two or three clicks will be more than enough to generate $10 a day.
