Y Combinator was the most active U.S.-based investor in June, making 18 investment deals. The famous accelerator was followed by Gaingels with 17 deals and Insight Partners with 13, respectively.

Y Combinator's investment pace has mirrored the industry, as the accelerator invested in 29 startups during the same period last year. The California-based Y Combinator invested in multiple verticals such as sports betting, mental health, fintech, etc.
Gaingels trailed Y Combinator with only one deal fewer. The New-York based company invested in startups such as Kindly, Eclipse Foods, AdWisely, Prime Trust, etc.
The third most active investor was Insight Partners. The company was active, with an especially dynamic investing pace in international markets such as Israel.
Insight was the most active VC firm in Israel in 2021, while it recently invested in Machine Learning company Deci.
