1) Register your business, company and NGO with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
2) Register your TRADEMARK and Company LOGO with the Ministry of Trades, Commerce and Industry.
3) Register your INTELLECTUAL PROPERTIES with the Copy Rights Commission.

4) Ensure ALL your LANDED PROPERTY TRANSACTIONS are properly documented.
5) Do not enter into any contract or sign any document without involving a Lawyer.
6) Do not give or take any apartment either as a TENANT or LANDLORD without a standard tenancy agreement.
7) Do not buy or sell any movable or immovable Property without engaging a Lawyer to investigate the root of title.
8) Ensure you get your Personal or Company Income Tax Clearance ready at all times, to avoid an emergency need for it.
10) Always insist on having some vital communications, chats, discussions or conversations in written form, for REFERRENCE purposes.
11) Do not be in a hurry to give a YES or NO answer to questions (Especially when you are being recorded).
12) Do not sign any document with a black pen. Always use a blue one.
13) Always ask for and keep receipts or any other proof of payment for any transactions you make... No matter how little.
14) Never you honour any invitation from any law enforcement agency without the company of a Lawyer.
